Come and explore with us how you can RAISE YOUR VIBRATION through daily habits that BALANCE YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM
Every addictive behavior is preceded by a trigger which is always preceded by a physical stress response. The key point for us is that we know that we can teach you how to control stress in your body and break this cycle forever. It's also important to point out that even "boredom" is a symptom of overactive stress response.
Every Organ system in your body is controlled by two separate and distinct sets of nerves.
The Sympathetic nerves take control when your body receives signals that you're in a "Fight or Flight" situation and the Parasympathetic nerves are in control when you're able to "rest and digest".
Modern life inappropriately signals a "fight or flight" state almost all day every day.
With Breath, Movement, Nutrition,Meditation, and acts of Service you can train your body to be in the “Rest and Digest” state more often, resulting in improved health in every measurable way.
You can improve your health in every measurable way by balancing your nervous system
When the Sympathetic (Fight or Flight) response is hyperactive, our body and soul are experiencing life as if our basic needs and safety aren’t secured, making it difficult or impossible to experience the higher layers of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.
We end up experiencing the stressors of life as if they are life threatening and our physiologic response is inappropriate to our actual situation 99+% of the time. Relationships, money, chronic injuries, and toxic food aren't usually threatening to our life in a given moment, but our body responds with elevated heart rate, tightened muscles, slowing down digestion etc. as if we have to be ready to physically fight for our lives or run away in order to survive. The result is inflammation that leads to depression, anxiety, pain, and self destructive behaviors (including addiction).
Yogic philosophers over centuries have observed a similar pattern and addressed it by teaching movement patterns to train the physical body to express health so that the brain, mind, and soul could progressively be expressed and experience, with the ultimate objective of reaching the condition of Self Actualization, similar to Maslow’s Self Actualization.
